Eco Tips From Ed Begley Jr.
Rock the Green interviewed Ed Begley Jr.– Actor, author and environmentalist –
at the 2012 Green Energy Summit in Milwaukee in March. Ed is also the spokesperson for A. O. Smith, one of Rock the Green’s sponsors.
Ed Begley, Jr. has been a longstanding advocate for environmental issues. Ed has led the Green Movement for many years, both as a personal example of sustainable lifestyle practices, and a vocal spokesperson towards a more Earth-responsible society. He believes that even the simplest changes in personal habits, multiplied by a growing populace of concerned humans, can create a lasting effect on the health of our planet and of all living things.
Want to learn how to be greener but have no idea where to start? Ed gave us some sound advice on how lighten our environmental footprints by doing some very simple and easy things. These smart, cost-effective eco-tips can help reduce energy and resource consumption in our own lives while simultaneously saving us some greenbacks too! And don’t get us started on the evils of Vampire Power (and no, we don’t mean the Twilight kind!) If you want to learn more, Ed has written two books on how to make these eco-friendly changes at your own pace. Find them here.
Thanks to Ed Begley Jr for his advice and time. A special thank you to A. O. Smith for connecting us and to Mindpool for making it reel.
